Romatet was speaking during a press conference, organized by Air France airlines, to announce the operation of Airbus A350 for the first time in the carrier's flights between Cairo and Paris.

The ambassador pointed out that the number of French tourists recorded its highest rates in 2010 (one million tourists), noting it sharply fell after 2011 and 2013 revolutions, as it reached its lowest levels in 2014 (100,000 tourists).

"The French planes, coming to Egypt are full," he said, expecting that the influx of French tourism to Egypt would increase in the coming period.

He said that Air France operates six flights weekly between Cairo and Paris, pointing to a possibility of increasing this number to accommodate the flocking travelers.

He attributed the recovery the French tourism to Egypt to many factors, including the security, economic, and political stability and security in the country's attractions.

It is worth mentioning that the German market topped the markets exporting tourism to Egypt in the last year. German tourism reached 1.6 million, followed by England with a total of 397,000.
