Egypt's Al Gharbeyya Governorate announced that the victims of the Al Mahalla Al Kobra property collapse so far has reached 6 deaths and two injuries.

The Governorate added that the rest of the collapsed house rubble is being removed to ensure that there are no other victims, according to several Egyptian media outlets.

The Abo Rady area in the city of Al Mahalla Al Kubra, in Al Gharbeyya Governorate, saw on Saturday, the collapse of a 4-storey house, and the search for citizens, whether victims or survivors, under its rubble.

Al Gharbeyya Governor Tarek Rahmy moved to the site of the collapsed property in Abo Rady area, and a security cordon was imposed around the collapsed house and the adjacent properties, for fear that they may be affected by the collapsed property, in addition to following up on the rubble removal.

A committee was formed to find out the causes of the collapse and examine neighboring properties to ensure their safety.
