Egyptian Minister of Tourism Rania Al-Mashat tweeted on her birthday to thank everyone who supported her all the way.
Al-Mashat gave a special thanks to the University of Maryland where she had her Masters degree and PhD. She inserted a video of her speech there.
She advised everyone to be determined enough to achieve their goals.
The Egyptian economist and politician was born on 20 June 1975 in Cairo. She has been the country's minister of tourism for a year.
She was named one of the 50 most influential women in the Egyptian economy.
