5 Palestinians were killed and others were injured today, Saturday, in the Israeli occupation forces’ bombing of a school housing displaced people southeast of Gaza City.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted local sources as saying, “The occupation warplanes bombed the Shuhada al-Zaytoun School, which shelters displaced people, leaving five citizens killed and others injured.”
It added that the occupation forces have targeted 172 shelter centers since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, including 152 schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and others governmental and private ones, inhabited by displaced people.
In a related context, the Israeli occupation army today called on citizens in large areas in the northern Gaza Strip to forcibly evacuate them.
