Five Israeli military personnel were killed in battles in southern Lebanon, according to Hebrew media.
The Israeli army announced the killing of 57 officers and soldiers since the outbreak of confrontations with Hezbollah on the Lebanon front.
These numbers come in light of the escalation in the intensity of the clashes, as Israeli Channel 14 reported that dozens of soldiers were transferred to hospitals after they were injured during violent battles with Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon in recent hours.
Israeli sources confirmed that 5 soldiers were killed during the past 24 hours in those clashes.
In the same context, Rambam Hospital in Haifa announced that it received 7 soldiers wounded in battles in southern Lebanon.
