5 Chia Seeds Pudding Recipes to Make at Home... Fall Cooking

Chia seeds are the edible seeds of a plant called Salvia Hispanica which is a flowering plant from the sage family. They are grey and oval shaped with some black and white spots. They are filled with an impressive amount of nutrients including fibers, proteins, fats, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, zinc, potassium, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 and vitamin B3.

Chia seeds are also great to enjoy during the fall. So, here are 5 chia seeds pudding recipes to make at home:

  • Chocolate Chia Seeds Pudding Recipe

    • Ingredients:

    • ¼ a cup of unsweetened cacao powder.
    • ½ a cup of chia seeds.
    • 3:5 tablespoons of honey.
    • ½ a teaspoon of cinnamon.
    • ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
    • 1 ½ cups of skimmed milk or any milk of choice.
    • A pinch of salt.

     

    • Instructions:

    • In a bowl, add the cacao powder, honey, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract and milk before whisking until smooth.

    • Add the chia seeds and mix until well combined. Cover the bowl and leave it in the fridge overnight or at least for 5 hours.

    • Top the pudding with some coconut flakes and dark chocolate chips before serving. Enjoy!

  • Pumpkin Chia Seeds Pudding Recipe

    • Ingredients:

    • 1 cup of pumpkin puree.
    • 5 tablespoons of chia seeds.
    • 2 ¼ cups of skimmed milk or any milk of choice.
    • 3 tablespoons of honey.
    • ½ a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
    • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
    • ¼ a teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
    • A pinch of ground ginger.
    • A pinch of salt.
    • ½ a cup of chopped pecans.

     

    • Instructions:

    • In a bowl, add the milk, pumpkin puree, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt. Mix till well combined.

    • Add the chia seeds to the mixture and combine well before covering the bowl and leaving it in the fridge overnight or at least for 5 hours.

    • Top the chia pudding with the pecans before serving and Enjoy!

    • Ingredients:

    • 1/3 a cup of chia seeds.
    • ½ a cup of brewed coffee.
    • ¾ cup of skimmed milk or any milk of choice.
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
    • 2 teaspoons of honey.

     

    • Instructions:

    • In a bowl, add the coffee, milk and vanilla extract. Mix till smooth.

    • Add the chia seeds to the mixture and combine well. Cover the bowl and let it chill overnight or at least for 5 hours.

    • Top the pudding with some Greek yogurt and coffee beans before serving. Enjoy!

    • Ingredients:

    • ¼ a cup of chia seeds.
    • 1 ¼ cups of coconut milk.
    • 2 tablespoons of honey.
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
    • 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut.

     

    • Instructions:

    • In a bowl, add the milk, honey, vanilla extract and only 1 tablespoon of the shredded coconut before mixing everything together.

    • Add the chia seeds and combine well before covering the bowl and leaving it in the fridge overnight or at least for 5 hours.

    • Top the pudding with the remaining shredded coconut before serving and Enjoy!

    • 1 cup of skimmed milk or any milk of choice.

    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

    • In a bowl, add the matcha green tea powder, milk, honey and vanilla extract. Mix till well combined.

    • Add the chia seeds to the mixture and combine well before leaving it in the fridge overnight or at least for 5 hours.
