4th ME Fashion Festival… 1st Fashion Show after COVID-19

The 4th run of the Middle East Fashion Festival was celebrated yesterday with a number of different fashion shows including soiree and wedding dresses.

The festival awarded a number of fashion designers, make-up artists, the actors of the new film “Zenzana 7”, Menna Fadali and Nedal Al Shafey, and Jomana Mourad, Ahmad Shakir, Rana Raeis, and Amira Abd El Azim.

The Festival which is considered the first fashion show to be held after the COVID-19 pandemic was held in the Golf Solimania resort with a number of shows presented by the resort itself including the DJ Ahmed Essam show, a fireworks show, and a relaxing walk around the lake.

The festival included the works of many fashion designers including Sara Tyel, the Egyptian designer Nermeen Safwat, and the Syrian designer Amr Mahfouz whose collection of wedding dresses included for the first time jumpsuits and suits as bridal gowns.

Not to mention the different make-up artists who took part in the festival like Mira El Feky, the Tunisian artist Nayrouz, Mostafa El Shaer Shady, and Fady Lahoud.

Nayrouz expressed her happiness to be part of the festival and pointed to the unique beauty of the Egyptian woman and her pharaonic features that don’t need much makeup to be showcased.

Also, Mira El Feky announced that this fall’s make-up trend is the “No Make-up” look which means using natural and light make-up shades that give off a no make-up feel and moving away from the bright and obnoxious colors.

On his side, Walid Khalil the manger of the Middle East Fashion Festival announced that he is getting ready to hold more festivals in the Solimania city that will turn into a cultural center soon including the fine art festival and a number of live concerts held by international stars.
