The Israeli military announced Tuesday the deaths of four soldiers in northern Gaza, bringing the total fatalities among Israeli troops since the start of the ground operation on October 27, 2023, to 367.
In an official statement, the army confirmed, "The names of the four soldiers who fell in combat on Tuesday in northern Gaza have been cleared for publication."
Additionally, the statement reported a senior officer sustained critical injuries during the clashes.
Israeli media revealed that rehabilitation departments in hospitals have treated approximately 12,000 wounded soldiers since the onset of the Gaza conflict.
According to Israel Radio, about two-thirds of these cases, nearly 8,000 soldiers, involve physical injuries, while almost half of the wounded are dealing with psychological trauma.
Meanwhile, the northern front has also seen a surge in casualties. The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported 900 injuries over the past month due to the ongoing military campaign in Lebanon.
It added that around 1,000 wounded soldiers are admitted to the Ministry of Defense's rehabilitation department each month.
Lemor Luria, the head of the Rehabilitation Department in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, recently stated, "We need a budgetary solution to address this growing challenge."
As the war in Gaza and the northern front continues, the rising number of casualties highlights the escalating toll on Israeli forces and resources.
