Sharm El-Sheikh received on Friday two flights from Ukraine, carrying 377 tourists, the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry said in a statement.

The first flight took off from Kyiv, carrying 187 tourists, while the second one was operated from Kharkiv, carrying 190 tourists on board.

Since July 1, the Red Sea resort city received 20 flights from Ukraine and Belarus. Hurghada also received 15 flights from Ukraine, Belarus, and Switzerland.

Currently, 6,000 tourists visited the two Red Sea resort cities.

Earlier, the ministry announced that tourists, who arrived earlier in the Red Sea and South Sinai governorates, began on Thursday to return home without registering any coronavirus infections among them.

The tourists hailed the Egyptian precautionary measures, implemented at the hotels in the two Red Sea resorts, saying the measures did not hinder them from enjoying their vacation.

They also commended everyone for the regulations that Egypt sent to other countries through diplomatic missions, major tour operators, and renowned tourism companies.
