34 Mln Egypt's Residents Fully Vaccinated against Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of fully vaccinated residents in Egypt against Coronavirus reached 34.073.986.

In the same context, the statement added that 44.774.000 residents in Egypt received the first dose, while 2.417.936 received the booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Furthermore, the rates of recovery from the virus reached 93% and the number of cases in critical conditions by the COVID-19 dropped by 95%.

Therefore, the ministry urged all people who are still unvaccinated to register their names and reverse their COVID-19 vaccine doses for giving them the required protection against the virus and its mutations.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced on Saturday that last week the average number of daily Coronavirus infections reached 89 cases, while the average daily death toll was six new cases.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar, said in a statement that the average daily number of people recovering from coronavirus last week reached 100, bringing the total number of people recovering from the virus so far to 444,703

The Health and Population Ministry confirmed on March 12 the end of the peak of the fifth wave after the decline and stability of daily infections with Coronavirus, noting that vaccines play a major role in the decline in infections and severity of diseases.
