Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of Red Sea governorate, announced that nearly 30,000 people working in the tourism sector, out of a total of 114,000, have received Coronavirus vaccine.
“Not only workers and employees at the tourism sector who will be vaccinated, but also everyone who deals with tourists in general, such as taxi drivers and bazaars’ owners,” Hanafi added in a statement.
He thanked the political leadership for its keen on developing Hurghada, which Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly visited recently within the framework of President Sisi's directives to develop the governorate.
He also noted that there is a new project to develop the beaches, while the streets and roads will be paved, “the plan has been presented to the Prime Minister and it aims to increase the number of tourists.”
