Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that after hearing a series of explosions in the city of Belgorod, 3 civilians were killed, including a child, and 4 others were injured.
The governor indicated that as a result, dozens of houses were damaged, including 5 of them completely destroyed.
Earlier, the governor announced that in the provincial capital, a series of powerful explosions was heard, and a private house caught fire in one of the city’s streets, as a result of which several people were injured.

The governor expressed his belief that the Russian air defense means in the region are addressing some targets.
The governor noted that an investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the accident.
It is noteworthy that some residential centers in this province, which is adjacent to Ukraine, are periodically bombarded by the Ukrainian armed factions.
In the meantime, several reports published news that the causes of the explosions were missiles that came from the border with Ukraine.
