Actress Nelly Karim surprised her fans by announcing the date of her marriage, after confirming that she is engaged to former squash star Hisham Ashour, brother of Ramy Ashour.
Karim, who celebrated her engagement to Ashour in a private party, revealed that she will tie the knot next August with Ashour, the first marriage for him.
Ashour is one of the most skilled squash players in the world and ranked among the top ten in the game. After his retirement, he resided in the U.S., established a squash academy and participated in acting workshops in Hollywood.
He returned recently to Egypt due to the worldwide lockdown that was imposed due to the pandemic. Upon his arrival, he appeared in the Ramadan series “Civil War” with the Yousra.
Nelly Karim previously revealed that she had been married twice, the first in her teenage years and without her family’s knowledge, and gave birth to her two sons, Karim and Youssef. The second marriage was to doctor Hany Abu Al-Naga, and their marriage lasted 11 years.
In June 2020, she announced her relationship with businessman Omar Islam but announced their separation a year later.
