The death toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip rose to 25 on Wednesday, according to a report by Sky News Arabia.
Gaza’s Civil Defense authorities confirmed that rescue teams recovered the bodies of 10 people from beneath the rubble of a school in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. The school had been sheltering displaced civilians at the time of the strike. An additional six bodies were retrieved from destroyed homes in the same neighborhood.
Elsewhere, Israeli warplanes carried out raids in Jabalia in the north and Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip. The airstrikes were accompanied by artillery shelling that targeted residential homes and tents housing displaced families. At least three more Palestinians were reported killed in those attacks, with several others injured—some in critical condition.
These latest developments come amid a continuing escalation in Israeli military operations in Gaza, drawing increasing concern from the United Nations and humanitarian organizations. International agencies have warned of a rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis, especially as civilian infrastructure and shelters continue to be targeted.
