The ambulance service in the state of Bahia, Brazil, has reported that at least 25 people were killed in a collision between a bus and a truck.
Military medics responded to the accident that occurred on the highway near the city of Gavião, about 250 kilometers from Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia, according to a report on the incident.
Five individuals were injured in the accident that took place on Monday night, as reported by Brazilian news outlets, which included images of the damaged truck.
The police have taken custody of the bodies to identify the victims, as stated by the emergency responders.
