FIFA officially announced the individual award winners for the 2026 FIFA World Cup following Spain's 1-0 extra-time victory over Argentina in Sunday's final at MetLife Stadium, recognizing the tournament's standout performers.

France captain Kylian Mbappe claimed the Golden Boot after finishing as the tournament's leading scorer with 10 goals and four assists, becoming the first player to score 10 goals in a single World Cup since German legend Gerd Muller in 1970.

The Real Madrid star also extended his record as the all-time leading scorer in FIFA World Cup history with 22 career goals, surpassing Lionel Messi.

Messi finished second in the scoring charts with eight goals and four assists, followed by England's Jude Bellingham and Norway's Erling Haaland, who each scored seven goals during the tournament.

Spain midfielder Rodri was awarded the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player after leading La Roja to their second World Cup title. The Manchester City star completed a remarkable comeback from a long-term knee injury to dominate Spain's midfield throughout the competition.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi received the Silver Ball as the tournament's second-best player, while Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappe completed the podium by earning the Bronze Ball.

Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon was named the recipient of the Golden Glove after helping his side concede just one goal throughout the tournament while keeping a record seven clean sheets, including another shutout in the World Cup final.

Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi won the Young Player Award, beating teammate Lamine Yamal after producing a series of composed performances at the heart of Spain's defense during the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands received the FIFA Fair Play Trophy after recording the best disciplinary record among teams that advanced beyond the group stage, collecting just three yellow cards throughout their World Cup campaign.
