Al Hilal moved to the top of the Saudi Pro League after securing a solid 2–0 victory over Damac on Sunday evening at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium, as part of Matchday 13 of the competition.

The Riyadh giants took control of the match in the first half when Uruguayan striker Darwin Núñez opened the scoring in the 35th minute, giving Al Hilal a deserved lead before the break.

The visitors continued their dominance after halftime, and Marcos Leonardo doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute, effectively sealing the three points.

With this victory, Al Hilal climbed to first place in the Saudi Pro League table with 32 points, holding a one-point advantage over second-placed Al Nassr.

Damac, meanwhile, remain 14th with nine points, having recorded one win, six draws, and five defeats so far this season.

The win also extended Al Hilal’s impressive unbeaten run to 11 consecutive matches in all competitions, highlighting their strong form and title credentials.

The result follows their recent 3–1 victory over Al Kholood, further underlining their consistency.

Elsewhere in the league, Al Ahli claimed a dramatic 3–2 win over rivals Al Nassr at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in a thrilling encounter from the previous round, adding more excitement to the Saudi Pro League title race.
