On Wednesday, FIFA announced the prize money for the first-ever 32-team FIFA Club World Cup.
The total prize money of the tournament will be $1 billion; in addition, the expected revenues could be estimated at $2 billion.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in an official statement that FIFA will dedicate some of the revenues to club football around the world.
"FIFA will not keep a single dollar," he said.
The tournament will take place in the US between June 14 and July 13.
