The Morocco national team will take on Senegal in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after both sides booked their places at the expense of Nigeria and Egypt in the semifinals.
The final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations between Senegal and Morocco will kick off next Sunday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
Morocco secured their spot in the final after defeating Nigeria 4–2 on penalties, following a goalless draw after both regular and extra time.
Senegal reached the final after edging Egypt 1–0 in the other semifinal, also played on Wednesday.
The decisive goal was scored by Sadio Mané in the 78th minute.
Egypt, coached by Hossam Hassan, will now face Nigeria in the third-place playoff on Saturday at Mohammed V Stadium.
