Tonight, La Liga giants Real Madrid come into the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals with an impressive record as they prepare for their match against English Premier League side Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, following their loss to Valencia, coach Carlo Ancelotti's team is aiming for a fifth consecutive semifinal appearance in the Champions League.
Marca added that Real Madrid has qualified for the Champions League semifinals 33 times out of 39 attempts.
It added that the club hasn't failed to advance from the quarterfinals in over 20 years.
UEFA has appointed a team of Bosnian referees to officiate the first-leg match between Arsenal and Real Madrid in the Champions League quarterfinals.
The Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto will be in charge of the match, and he is considered one of the top referees in European competitions, having previously officiated numerous important matches in continental tournaments.
This will be the second time Peljto has officiated a Real Madrid match in the Champions League, after managing the team's 1-0 victory against Leipzig in last season's Round of 16 at the German club's stadium.
The Bosnian officiating team will include Sinan Ibrahimović (First Assistant), Davor Biljo (Second Assistant), and Miloš Djegović (Fourth Official).
