Borussia Dortmund qualified for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Ligue 1 Lille in the Round of 16.
They will face Barcelona in the quarter-finals. The first leg between Barcelona and Dortmund will take place at Barcelona’s home ground on April 8, while the other leg will take place at Borussia Dortmund’s stadium on April 15.
Borussia Dortmund secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Lille 2-1 in the second leg of the Round of 16, played at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France, during the 2024-2025 season.
On the other hand, Barcelona has qualified for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Benfica 3-1 in the second leg of the Round of 16. The match was played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as part of the 2024-2025 Champions League campaign.
Barcelona dominated the first half, taking a 3-1 lead. Raphinha scored twice in the 11th and 42nd minutes, while Lamine Yamal added another goal in the 27th minute. Benfica’s only goal came from Nicolás Otamendi in the 13th minute.
In the second half, both teams slowed the tempo, as Barcelona had already secured the result in the first half. The match ended with a 3-1 victory for Barcelona, confirming their place in the quarter-finals.
