On Saturday, England secured a tough 1-0 victory over Haiti in the opening contest of Group D competitions at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The game's only goal was scored by Georgia Stanway from the penalty spot in the first half.

The first time scoring the penalty was saved by Haiti keeper Kerly Théus, however, VAR check revealed that Théus stepped off the line before the English player struck the ball.
