On Friday, the First Egyptian National Football team departed to Liberia for the second 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone.
Yesterday, the team's coach Rui Vitoria excluded three players due to violating the system of the team's camp and training.
The three players were: Emam Ashour, Hussein El Shahat, and Tarek Hamed.
The number of the selected players for the forthcoming contest is 22.

Midfielders: Marwan Attia (Ahly), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal – England), Hamdi Fathi (Al-Wakrah SC – Qatar), Mahmoud Hamada (Pharco FC), and Ahmed “Zizo” Sayed (Zamalek).
Forward: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool – England), Mostafa Fathi (Pyramids FC), Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt – Germany), Mahmoud “Trezeguet” Hassan (Trabzonspor – Turkey), Mostafa Mohamed (FC Nantes – France), and Mohamed Sherif (Khaleej FC – Saudi Arabia).
