Serie A Genoa CFC announced that 14 Corona virus cases have been discovered among the team's players and coaching staff.
The Italian team had said that the Dane midfielder Lasse Schön and goalkeeper Mattia Perin had contracted Corona virus on Saturday.
"Genoa announces that after today's tests, Coronavirus infections have risen to 14 cases among players and coaching staff, according to the club's official website.
"The club has implemented all procedures in accordance with the protocol and the authorities have been informed. The club will provide upcoming updates as the situation evolves.", the website stated.
Genoa lost 6-0 to Napoli on Sunday and is due to host Turin next Saturday.
