The Red Devils were drawn in Group B, alongside Platinum (Zimbabwe), Al-Hilal (Sudan), Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia).
Etoile du Sahel now tops the group with six points, followed by Al Hilal (2nd) with three points and Al Ahly (3rd) with also three points, while Platinum comes in the last spot.
The eight-time African champions kicked their adventure in the group stage with a 0-1 defeat from Etoile du Sahel, while they snatched a 2-1 victory over Sudan's Al Hilal in the second round.
It is worth mentioning that the Red Devils will enter that game without winger Ramadan Sobhi, who was set for a six-week stint on the sidelines with a muscular injury,
Club doctor Khaled Mahmoud announced on Wednesday that Sobhi suffered a muscular injury during Tuesday’s training session and he was not able to resume the training.
