1 dead, 4 injured in McDonalds Alabama shooting

WASHINGTON, SEPT 9 (SEE)- A person was killed on Sunday in a shooting inside the McDonald's restaurant near the University of Warren, Alabama.

Fox News reported that four people were also injured, including a 16-year-old man whose condition was serious.

A local police spokesman said that the dead person was a 20-year-old man, while the university confirmed in a first report that the perpetrator, whose nature was unknown, managed to escape.

There have been no reports of the cause of the incident, and the local police have expressed the belief that the shooting is not indiscriminate.
