Miss Arab Algeria "Maria Boudouaya" Shares Rituals, Recipes during Ramadan

Miss Arab Algeria 2024 Maria Boudouaya said that the most delicious Algerian cuisine in Ramadan for breakfast are harira, maqoudah, borek, sweet tagine, dry fruits with nuts, and olive tagine with meat and sprinkles.

After breaking our fasting, we put sweets such as baklava, almond heart, dumplings, and qatayef with tea or coffee with relatives and family.

At suhoor, we serve couscous with Seffa and drink it with a cup of milk.

Boudouaya added - in an exclusive interview with Sada El Balad English "See" - that the Algerian dress in Ramadan is the ropa, which is a garment that is not missing from any home, which shows the woman in a stunning way and is characterized by its bright colors inspired by nature, such as red, yellow, orange, blue and black, along with piece of silk cloth that covers the entire body, decorated with Berber letters and symbols.

In Ramadan, the Queen wished that peace, security, and prosperity would prevail in Palestine and that God would grant victory to people in Jerusalem, wishing her family, her mother, sisters, and family health and safety in Ramadan.

Boudouaya explained that her best memories in Ramadan was when she used to gather with family and watch old Algerian series, including the Bab Al-Hara series.

The beauty queen pointed out that the Algerian drama series won by all standards, such as the series Tears of Loulia, Al-Rahan, Al-Barani, and Revenge of Time.

Boudouaya confirmed that the people of Algeria are among the kindest and most generous people in the world, and they carry out many charitable works that are well known, on every street in Algeria, they feed passers-by from tables of all the delicious Algerian food, in addition to the donations made by Algerians, including ones to children, elderly and orphans.

Trip to Egypt

She noted that the most beautiful places she loved in Egypt are the pyramids and the Nile, and the Nile air is very beautiful. She longed to return to Egypt to visit the pyramids, Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurghada, and many other archaeological sites.
