Film “Shaqo” Begins Production

Production began on Amr Youssef‘s new film “Shaqo” (Brothers).

It also stars Yousra, Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Dina El Sherbiny, Abbas Abul-Hassan, and others.

The film is scripted by Wissam Sabri and helmed by Karim El Sobky.

“Shaqo” marks the second collaboration between Youssef, El Sherbiny, Mamdouh, and Khalil after the 2016 TV series “Grand Hotel”.

In 2019, the actor starred in his latest artistic work, “Welad Rizk 2”.

It also featured Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed El Fishawy, Karim Kassem, Mohamed Mamdouh, and others.

Youssef is currently busy with a number of his projects in the past period, including the TV series “Waed El Shaytan” and the play “Casanova”, co-starring Hassan El-Raddad.

“Waed El Shaytan” also stars Razan El Moghrabi, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Magdy, and others.

It will also feature late veteran actress Maha Abou Ouf.

“Waed El Shaytan”, directed by Colin Teague, consists of 6 episodes and revolves around a man who allies himself with the devil.

Youssef made his last appearance on the small screen in the 2018 TV series, “Tayea”.

Youssef, born on December 23, 1980, began his career in entrainment with television commercials and music videos.

Thereafter, veteran actor Nour Al Sherif brought his talents to the public’s attention when he cast him in TV series “Al Daly” in 2007. Following this crucial step forward, Youssef’s career took off.
