The Cairo Café Ensemble, accompanied by acclaimed flute player Hashem Lotfy, gave a marvelous concert at the Alexandria Opera Theater, as a part of Egypt's Summer Opera Festival.
The concert offered an opportunity to hear singers like Omnia Bakr and Lydia Luciano, who performed some of the Spanish flock songs and Suez Canal popular hits.
Students of Oud class at the Talent Development Center also presented some classics, which include "Bin Shateen w Miyeh", "Helw w Mur", "Hob Eh," , "Topa", and "Dart Al-Ayyam".
