Egyptian actor Amr Youssef will not participate in Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.
In a statement, Youssef noted that he will be absent due to his preoccupation with a number of his projects in the past period, including the TV series "Waed El Shaytan" and the play "Casanova", co-starring Hassan El-Raddad.
The actor added that he preparing for his new film "Shuqu", and new TV series for Ramadan 2023.
Youssef also disclosed "Waed El Shaytan" will debut next May on the Shahid platform.
He added the series is not a horror genre and noted that it will feature high graphics and impeccable acting skills.
"It raises an important question: What are you willing to do for the ones you love, and what are the consequences that will be beset you. The viewer will put themselves in the place of the character I'm playing." Youssef pointed out.
"Waed El Shaytan" also stars Razan El Moghrabi, Aïcha Ben Ahmed, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Magdy, Maha Abou Ouf, and others.
It is directed by Colin Teague and consists of 6 episodes.
