Zimbabwe is Strong Team: Aguirre

Javier Aguirre, head coach of the Egyptian national team talked on Wednesday about the Pharaohs' opening match against Zimbabwe. He was quoted as saying, "Zimbabwe is a strong team. They deserved to be in the upcoming AFCON."

"The opening match against the warriors will be very important for us," the pharaoh's coach added.

He asserted that Pharaohs respect Zimbabwe''s national team, adding that Egypt will play very well to secure their victory in the opening game.

"We started our preparatory on June,6. we do not have any problems" Aguirre said in a press conference.

About Liverpool star, he said, "Salah is an ideal player, but he is like the other players."

" I know who will be the goalie of the Pharaohs, but I will not disclose his name now," the coach noted.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt, which will host the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations from June 21 to 19 July, were picked in group A alongside Zimbabwe, Uganda, and DR.Congo.

During their preparatory camp at Burj Al-Arab Stadium, the hosting team played two friendly games against Tanzania, and Guinea. The Pharaohs managed to secure their victories in the two warm-up games.
