Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may visit Germany in May for the first time since the start of Russia-Ukraine war, the Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported on Sunday citing sources in government circles.
According to sources, Zelenskyy may personally attend the presentation of the Charlemagne Prize in the western German city of Aachen on May 14.
However, the newspaper wrote that the situation in the conflict zone may interfere with the flight. In this case, Zelensky will address the participants of the ceremony via video link.
The newspaper pointed out that since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian president has already visited the United States, France and Poland.
