Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine is ready for peace, emphasizing that security guarantees will serve as a fundamental pillar of any agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war with Russia.
Zelensky stated that security guarantees have been 100% agreed upon, alongside understandings regarding reconstruction files, as part of international efforts to support Ukraine’s stability in the post-war phase.
Moreover, Ukrainian president explained that the discussions covered a 20-point peace plan, which includes political, security, and economic arrangements to ensure a lasting peace in the country.
Additionally, Zelenesky noted that his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump was "wonderful" and featured a productive discussion regarding the progress of ongoing talks between the concerned parties.
Zelensky also added that he, along with European leaders, will meet with Trump in Washington next month to continue coordination on the peace process.
Furthermore, Zelensky emphasized that Ukrainians living abroad have the right to participate in any referendum concerning the future of Ukraine.
