Renowned Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass stated that the Rams Road celebration has great features, foremost is that it will be attended by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
He noted that the participation of the President indicates that he preserves these antiquities and has an interest in the heritage of not only Egypt but of the whole world as well.
Hawass pointed out that the world is hyped up for the global celebration of the re-opening of Rams Road today, which will be attended by over 3,000 inpiduals.
He continued that this symphony began in 2005 with the restoration of the Luxor Temple and the Rams Road until it was transformed into the tiptop shape displayed at the celebration.
The archaeologist added that it is at a length of 2,700 km and noted that 2,400 meters have been completed.
Hawass unveiled that the 300 meters in front of the temple will serve as a beacon, which will increase the number of tourists and bring millions of dollars.
The archaeologist also disclosed that the way the Pharaohs marked the Opet Festival and the songs performed at the festivity will be featured at the re-opening so that the world would be introduced to it.
Hawass affirmed that the Egyptian civilization will always be fascinating and inspiring to the whole world.
