Dr. Zahi Hawass, a world-renowned Egyptian archaeologist, confirmed that there is absolutely no evidence that astronomically explains the sun shines the face of the statue of Ramses II in a strictly defined date every year.
Hawass added that Egypt means antiquities, and it is the most important archaeological area in the whole world, and there are many treasures and connotations in the Abu Simbel Temple, in terms of the architectural form and statues of King Ramses II and the god Amun, and therefore the sun does not shine on his face at all.
Dr. Hawass pointed out that Abu Simbel Temple is a unique temple and one of the few temples where there is a statute of the king with 3 deities.
He added that Ramses II did not defeat the Hittites in the Battle of Kadesh, and that there is a pine law, in ancient Egypt, that makes the king a god, and that is why he must defeat the enemies of Egypt and unify upper and lower Egypt and make offerings to the gods, and that is why he built the principle of Abu Simbel Temple for himself to prove that he is a god in the other world.
Dr. Hawass added that King Ramses II built several temples in Nubia, about 9 or 10 temples, and that the enormity of the statues in the Abu Simbel Temple indicate that the Egyptian state was in control of the southern side.
He revealed that they found coffins, relics and other treasures more than those previously announced in the announcement over the first announcement of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
