Google has decided to remove hundreds of videos related to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from its YouTube video sharing site.

Forbes magazine reported on Thursday that "YouTube" decided to delete the videos related to the cryptocurrencies, especially on the channels of the small publishers.

YouTube's decision angered some publishers and channel owners on the video sharing platform, as Chris Dunn, who has 210,000 subscribers on his platform, asked for an explanation of the matter.

Dunn said on Twitter that most of the videos have been removed for cryptocurrencies on the pretext that they represent "harmful or dangerous content", despite his work in the field 10 years ago and the number of views exceeded 7 million views.

Cryptocurrencies fell after the decision of "YouTube" but, later the "Bitcoin" recovered to increase 1.4 percent, recording $ 7340 by the end of today's trading.

It is reported that "Google" had prevented in the past year from publishing any ads related to cryptocurrencies, but decided to cancel the decision after 3 months of its application.

In the meantime, some analysts expect the bitcoin to rise toward the £20,000 barrier by the end of the year in case of a trade war attrition.

The bitcoin is exchanged for EGP 176,838.40 making it the most expensive currency worldwide. In 2017, a study said there were 2.9-5.8 million traders using a cryptocurrencies for investment.
