Young Egyptian explorer Rahma Arafa decided to build a career in the field of travel when she was nineteen years old.
She traveled to many countries around the world and aspires to be the first Egyptian woman to travel around the globe before the age of thirty.
Arafa is now 22 years old and has achieved a huge part of her big dream.
The young adventurer shared with “SEE” her inspirational story and how it can be done.
Arafa uncovered that through creating Arabic travel videos while pursuing her dream of being the first Egyptian woman to travel the whole world before the age of thirty.
"Two years ago, I wouldn't imagine myself writing this to you, while I'm exploring my 18th country, reaching my first 1 million YouTube views, and creating travel content for a living!", she noted.

*Was the journey easy?
Arafa disclosed that she had faced many challenges to have this lifestyle, starting from her family and society.
She uncovered that every time she shared her goals with her family, they used to tell her that it was forbidden to travel alone, and she needs a husband to travel with her or how she will get kidnapped or raped.
"But, here I'm planning for moving to my 19th country in my continuous trip that started 1 year ago," she added.

*Earning money for traveling
Arafa shared how she saved money for travel and began working at the age of seventeen.
The explorer noted at the beginning of her journey she took different jobs, saved every penny, and started her social media marketing agency.
"I worked with over 50 startups and brands from all over the world, then I had a full-time remote job as a programs manager in a company based in UK working with refugees in the MENA region, which I just quit to focus on my traveling and creating better and more content," she added.
Arafa continued: "For now, I'm depending on my blogging earnings, and here comes your part in my story, with your support I'd be able to pursue my dream, inspiring more people, and prove to the world that a woman can travel the whole world Alone,".

*Advice
The explorer also shared a piece of advice for those who wish to travel the world.
She noted for those who didn't travel yet, take the step without much thought and planning.
Arafa revealed that she had made her first trip to three countries, which latest for two months, with less than EGP 20,000.
The traveler added that she had made the decision to travel a month prior.
"It was very difficult to save money and gain my family's approval to travel, but I made it and now I'm constantly traveling and will continue to do so. Now, I have a new goal, which is to travel the whole world before reaching 30." Arafa added.
She disclosed that Lebanon and Sri Lanka were the countries close to her heart. Arafa also shared that Faiyum was her most favorite place in Egypt.
