certainly, journalism, especially the printed papers, faces many major and dangerous challenges that need real solutions in the fiealds of opinion.

I will vote for Khaled Mery as the head of journalists syndicate, since the journalism needs a real shift in many fields, whether in the field of freedom of opinion, services, or the journalist's income. Therefore, I support and vote for Khaled Mery, my decent colleague whom I have known since the beginning of his work in the journalism when he entered Al-Akhbar newspaper, and he was a role model for the serious and decent journalist who is getting more professional.

As for me.. I have many memories with him.. I used to carry out press campaigns, and I was summoned  but Khaled Mery used to go as a representative of the Journalists Syndicate, and I used to find him waiting for me before I arrived.

The syndicate needs a decent journalist who cares about everything . Our syndicate is of a special nature. It is not a syndicate looking for discounts and money, but it is an opinion syndicate that influences and shapes public opinion.

I liked Khaled Mery's interview with Sada Al-Balad website, which I attended, it is one of the press institutions he visited as part of his tours in which he visited all institutions, press releases, and electronic websites. I attended his meeting that was filled with love and brotherhood with all journalists, young and old, and how he listens to them and his responses to them, stressing that the journalist has the right to live in dignity, to obtain the services he deserves, and to have legal protection while doing his work.

What I liked most is his statement that the freedoms clause will not be affected in journalism Law, which is one of the international clauses, he also seeks to amend the Journalists Syndicate Law to include an over-age member of our retired senior journalists.

Khaled is a distinguished, helpful and professional journalist, and has wonderful and great attitudes with everyone. He is a permanent supporter of journalists and the syndicate. He has great experience in the syndicate . He is a member of the syndaicate council for many sessions.

He won the Award for Excellence in Journalism for three consecutive years 1998, 1999, and 2000 for covering the cases of loans MPs, the Filali spy, and corruption files. He was also elected Secretary-General of the union of Arab Journalists.

He is smart, helpful, impartial, and fair. This is the best example for thehead of Syndicate of Journalists to express them, support them, and support the journalism. Therefore, I decided that my voice, will go for Khaled Mery. We should be ready on Friday, March 17, to say yes to Khaled Mery.
