A responsible source in the Yemeni government has strongly condemned the Israeli entity's aggression and its violation of Yemeni sovereignty, in clear defiance of all international laws and norms.
The source held the Israeli entity fully responsible for any consequences resulting from its airstrikes, including the exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis already worsened by Houthi militias' terrorist attacks on oil facilities and international shipping routes. These actions also bolster the militias' position and their misleading propaganda narratives.
The source renewed his warning to the Houthi terrorist militias against continuing to mortgage Yemen's fate and its people's lives for their futile battles serving Iranian regime interests and its expansionist project in the region.
Additionally, the source warned the Iranian regime and the Israeli entity against any attempt to turn Yemeni territory into a battlefield for their destructive wars and projects in the region through rogue militias.
The source urged the Houthi militias to listen to reason, respond to the will and aspirations of the Yemeni people, prioritize national interests over other agendas, avoid inviting foreign military interventions, engage seriously in the peace process, and cease all forms of violence and military escalation.
The source also called on the international community and the UN Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to protect international peace and security. In this context, he emphasized that the only way to achieve this is to support the Yemeni government in extending its authority over the entire national territory and implementing international legitimacy resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216.
The Yemeni government reaffirms its steadfast support for the Palestinian people and calls on the international community to take all necessary steps to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, fulfill their aspirations for security, stability, and a dignified life, and establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
