Yasmin Abdelaziz Travels to Switzerland for Medical Treatment

Egyptian actress Yasmin Abdelaziz traveled Tuesday to Geneva to complete her medical treatment in Switzerland from surgical complications.

In a statement, informed sources at the Cairo International Airport stated that the actress arrived at the airport in a private hospital's equipped ambulance, which was allowed to enter the Terminal 4 gate, where a private air ambulance jet was waiting.

The insiders added that the actress was transported, accompanied by an escort to the plane, under the supervision of the airport ambulance, headed by Moamen Adel.

Egyptian actor Ahmed Elawady, who is married to the actress, had announced recently that she was discharged from the hospital after her condition improved.

On July 17, Abdelaziz underwent a very delicate surgery after suffering from a sudden health crisis. She was transferred later on to the ICU.

The actress’s health had improved in the last period but the treating doctors preferred that she would remain in the hospital under observation.
