 World Will Invest   $1 Trillion  in Wind Energy by 2031

A report prepared by Wood Mackenzie Consulting Ltd. expects that the total global spending on offshore wind power plants will reach $1 trillion by 2031, in the context of expanding reliance on clean energy technology and achieving goals to combat climate change.

And Bloomberg Agency quoted the report as saying that by 2030, 24 countries will have offshore wind power plants, with a total capacity of 330 gigawatts, compared to offshore plants with a capacity of 34 gigawatts in only 9 countries by the end of 2020.

The cumulative spending on setting up these plants globally will reach one trillion dollars by 2031.

Soren Lassen, one of the analysts at Wood Mackenzie who co-authored the report, said that after offshore wind power plants became more prevalent as part of the energy system.
