World to Witness 2020 Solar Eclipse on Monday

On Monday, people in many parts of the world will witness the final solar eclipse in 2020. This sky event will be watched as a full solar eclipse in Chile only.

While it will be visible as a partial one in South-Western African parts, the Indian Ocean region, the southern part of the Pacific, parts of Antarctica, and The Galápagos Islands.

Solar Eclipse

The length of the full solar eclipse will be 2 minutes and 10 seconds, while the total solar eclipse will be five hours and 20 minutes.

This phenomenon occurs when the moon stands between the sun and earth, and the moon blocks the full rays of the sun.
