Dispatch reported Sunday that members of GOT7, K-pop boy band, will part ways with their agency JYP Entertainment.

Sublime Artist Agency has stated that they are in discussion with GOT7’s Youngjae about a possible contract, as source from the agency stated to Newsen, “We are currently in talks.”

Dispatch affirmed that 35th Golden Disc Awards will be GOT7’s last activity as a group.

“The GOT7 members are very close. They agreed on staying together, but they disagreed on the choice of their agency,” an industry source stated. “After multiple discussions with the company, they decided to part ways.”

Dispatch explained that the band member Jinyoung had finished his final discussions to sign with the acting agency BH Entertainment, while Yugyeom held his final meetings with the higher-ups at AOMG.

The JYP Entertainment stated that they were discussing various possibilities regarding GOT7’s contracts.

On his part, JB has reportedly received offers from a famous hip hop label as well as a global music label.

The member is believed to find a place that will support him as a solo artist.

Jackson is going to continue his global activities through his own label Team Wang, carrying out his activities in Korea through a separate agency.

On the other hand, BamBam will reportedly also balance his activities in Thailand and Korea.

According to Dispatch, Mark will return to his hometown of Los Angeles, United States to spend time with his family, after which he will open a YouTube channel. He is considering working on solo music in the United States.

“The members care a lot about GOT7,”  a close source to the band told Dispatch. “Though they will each promote separately, they agreed to make time when GOT7 reunites.”

“We cannot confirm which [agencies] each member is in contact with,” a source from JYP Entertainment responded to the reports. “We will inform you once our position regarding GOT7’s contract renewal is ready.”

Their fans expressed their sadness on social media, with hashtag #7 OR NOTHING.
