WHO: World Registered 1.5 Million New Cases of Corona, 7,300 Deaths Worldwide in 4 Weeks

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that nearly 1.5 million new infections with the emerging coronavirus (COVID-19) and 7,300 deaths were reported during the period from May 15 to June 11.

The UN organization pointed out that since the outbreak until June 11, 2023, more than 767 million confirmed cases and more than 6.9 million deaths have been reported globally.

The UN body noted that the reported cases are not an accurate representation of infection rates due to the decline in testing and the continuous decline in reporting nationwide. Global.
