The Egyptian fans are awaiting next Friday, when the two poles of Egyptian football will meet in the Egypt Cup final for the first time outside the country, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the anticipated meeting between the two greats, and the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match will be held at Awal Park Stadium.

This match witnesses huge financial prizes for the first place holder, as Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Entertainment Authority, previously announced an increase in the financial value of the winning team, by an additional $500,000, and each club is scheduled to receive $100,000 for participation, in addition to $500. An additional thousand dollars from Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh. 

The winner of the cup will also receive $350,000, in addition to an additional $500,000 from Turki Al-Sheikh, and the loser will receive only $150,000. The total prize money is the first-place winner will receive $950,000, while the second-place winner will receive $250,000.

Al-Ahly club began its campaign in the Egypt Cup by defeating the Suez national team with a clean goal, before it won in the round of 16 over Al-Dakhiliya 2-0, then it won in the quarter-finals over Al-Masry 2-1, and in the semi-finals it defeated Enppi 3-0.

While Zamalek began its journey in the Egypt Cup by defeating Proxy with a score of 3-2, then it won in the round of 16 against Pharco with a score of 3-1, before defeating the Arab Contractors 6-1 in the quarter-finals, and in the semi-finals, after a dramatic confrontation, Zamalek succeeded in Pyramids overcame by winning 4-3 on penalty kicks, after the match between the two teams had ended in a positive draw with three goals for the same.
