WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to send images of their original quality, WABetaInfo reported.

The tech firm plans to add a new drawing tool that allows users to change the quality of any image.

However, WhatsApp beta users on Android running WhatsApp beta version 2.23.2.11 update will not be able to use this feature as it is currently under development and will be rolled out soon with the future update of the app.

The platform recently announced a new feature to record and share voice notes via status updates.

This option will be found in the text status section if it is enabled on a device. Users can discard a recording before sharing it, which provides them with control over their voice recordings.

Meanwhile, the maximum duration for a voice note will be 30 seconds. In order to listen to the recording, users will have to update their WhatsApp version.

These notes will always be end-to-end encrypted, which means that only those people chosen by you in your privacy settings get to listen to these recordings. For now, these have been made available only to select beta testers.
