WhatsApp to Launch Video Chat Service

WhatsApp seems to have some big plans for video calling, which should make it a viable alternative to Zoom and Skype for large conference calls.

According to the reports of the platform specialized in monitoring the experimental features in the WhatsApp service (WABetaInfo), the latest beta version (2.2.128) of the WhatsApp Android app contains code indicating that users who have the latest version of the application will be able to make calls with more Persons.

Although the beta did not specify a specific number, but the platform (WABetaInfo) says it will be an even number, while clarifying that there is no indication of the exact date to add this feature.

If the free WhatsApp application can raise the maximum number of users participating in conference calls to 50 people, such as the Skype application, it will likely see a lot of use from small companies or for personal calls.
