Warm Weather Expected for Egypt on Thursday, Cairo 21°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts warm to moderately warm weather will prevail across the country during Thursday’s daylight hours.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and Canal Cities.

Winds occasionally occur in Cairo and South Sinai, blowing dust occasionally in the Red Sea governorate and the south of the country.

There is a change of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Furthermore, maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the shores of Marsa Matruh, El-Alamein, Alexandria, Kafr El Sheikh, Damietta, Port Said, Arish, and Rafah, with winds averaging 40 to 50 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5:3 meters.

Maritime navigation will be disrupted in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba, with winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2.5: 3.5 meters.

Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning extremely cold in the early hours. 

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 21°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 19°C in Marsa Matruh, 24°C in Sohag, 26°C in Qena, and 27°C in Aswan.
