The crime TV series “Fi Riwyat Ahadihim: Ward w Chocolate” has been renewed for a second season, with production underway.
While details of the new season are under wraps at the time, it will remain true to the spirit that characterized season one.
The renewal comes after the show’s huge success when it premiered on October 30.
Season 1 starred Zeina, Mohamed Farag, Maha Nassar, Mariam El Khosht, Safaa El Toukhy, Mourad Makram, Amr Mahdi, Bassam Ragab, newcomers Youssef Hashish and Aya Salim, and more.
The logline for season one reads: "Marwa, a TV host, falls for a powerful lawyer with a dark past, sparking a storm of love, secrets, and betrayal,".
"Fi Riwyat Ahadihim: Ward w Chocolate" hails from director Mohamed El Adl and scriptwriter Mohamed Ragaa.
The series consists of 10 episodes and is inspired by true events that were the focus of a wide public opinion in Egypt.
The drama is the latest original content from Yango Play and is co-created by El Adl Group.
