Paramount has released a trailer for its upcoming Dylan O’Brien movie, "Love and Monsters".
The trailer showed off the impressive survival skills O’Brien learned in "Teen Wolf" and "The Maze Runner" franchise.
The movie takes place seven years after a monsterpocalypse forces all humanity to move underground. Joel Dawson (O’Brien) decides to brave the surface and face the monsters standing between him and high school girlfriend Aimee (Jessica Henwick) — who is a mere 80 miles away.

Michael Rooker and Ariana Greenblatt co-star in the post-apocalyptic action romantic comedy feature.
The movie is directed by Michael Matthews, who made his feature debut with “Five Fingers for Marseilles.”, and written by Brian Duffield and Matthew Robinson, based on a story by Duffield.
“Love and Monsters” will skip theaters and head straight to premium video on demand on October 16.
Paramount Pictures’ science-fiction adventure had been scheduled to open theatrically on Feb. 12, 2021.
However, the studio decided last August to forgo a theatrical release and instead premium the movie via VOD amid ongoing uncertainty over the gradual reopening of movie theaters in North America after being mostly shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic since March.
